How Kaku uses your details when you visit the site, request a call, or contact Csaba.

Your booking and messages
We use your name, email, selected time, time zone, and language to arrange and manage a call. A short project note is optional. Do not include sensitive personal information or payment details. Name and email are required to create the booking. We do not require your revenue.
A random request reference links the inquiry to its booking. When available, a broad source category and starting-page category help us understand where inquiries begin. We do not attach raw page URLs, search terms, or campaign names to the booking. We do not use this information to make an automated eligibility or pricing decision.
For steps you request before a possible contract with you, our basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For business contacts, inquiry records, and broad source information, our legitimate interests are to answer relevant requests and manage our service business, under Article 6(1)(f). You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Services that receive data
Cal.com receives booking details and passes the information needed to its connected calendar and notification services. The call uses Google Meet. Kaku does not store booking form data in a separate website database.
Vercel hosts the site. Normal requests can include an IP address, browser data, page path, and time. Our legitimate interest is to deliver and protect the site. If you email the privacy contact, Google Gmail handles that message. If you choose WhatsApp or the external Cal.com page, that service also handles your visit under its own privacy terms.
Browser storage and measurement
A session value prevents the first-visit animation from repeating. A booking session value retains random request IDs, the selected time, status, and booking reference. It helps prevent another request after a reload. It does not contain your name, email, or project note. These values last for the browser-tab session.
The broad visit source stays in page memory until a full reload or the page closes. It is sent to Cal.com only when you submit a booking. Optional analytics, performance measurement, and session replay are disabled. Notice publication does not enable them.
International processing
Cal.com, Vercel, Google, and WhatsApp can process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their linked terms describe their processing locations and transfer safeguards. These can include adequacy arrangements and standard contractual clauses, where applicable. Contact us for information about the terms and safeguards relevant to your request.
Retention policy
These are Kaku’s rules for prospect records and messages:
- An inquiry that does not become a qualified opportunity
- 6 months after the last meaningful contact
- A qualified opportunity and related sales notes
- 24 months after the last meaningful contact
- Calendar events and invitations
- 12 months after the meeting, unless needed for an active client relationship
At the end of these periods, our policy is to review and delete or anonymise records that are no longer needed. This requires action in the relevant services; it is not a claim that each provider deletes records automatically. Contract, accounting, dispute, and legal records can require separate retention. Provider security logs and backups follow their service rules. Contact us for the details that apply to your record.
Your rights
Write to the privacy contact to request access or correction. Depending on the applicable rules, you can also request deletion, restriction, or portability, and object to processing. If processing depends on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
If someone gives us your contact details for a project introduction, you can ask us for the source. We will provide the required information when we contact you. You can complain to a competent data protection authority. In Romania, this is ANSPDCP.
