Trophy Daughter × Colorful Socks

00 / Project brief
What needed to change
The two brands belonged to the same client, but they could not feel like versions of the same store. Trophy Daughter needed intimacy and restraint. Colorful Socks needed energy and range. Both still had to make browsing, product choice, and cart clear on desktop and mobile.
- 01
Built the supplied design and product presentation for each brand
- 02
Reused Shopify sections where it saved time without flattening the two brand treatments
- 03
Built collections, product pages, search, and cart behavior
- 04
Adjusted navigation and product browsing for smaller screens
Two stores, both live.
Each store has its own brand voice and the same straightforward path from browsing to cart.

B01 · Trophy Daughter
Let the campaign lead, then get out of the way
Trophy Daughter is built around portraits, soft color, and expressive type. Kaku kept the product pages quieter so customers could move from the campaign to size, price, and add to cart without a change of tone.
The cart confirms the item and total, then adds a small set of relevant recommendations. It keeps selling without crowding the decision.
- Size choice next to add to cart
- Quick add without leaving the collection
- Recommendations kept secondary to the chosen item

C01 · Colorful Socks
Make browsing lively without making buying harder
Colorful Socks can carry more color, type, and product density because the product is quick to understand. Kaku used that energy to make the range more enjoyable to browse while keeping fit, price, and add to cart easy to find.
The cart shows the chosen pair, order total, free-shipping progress, and a short set of complementary products. Customers can keep building the order without losing track of what they already picked.
- Collections that make a larger range easier to browse
- Product galleries built for mouse and touch
- Free-shipping progress and complementary products in the cart
What is live now.
Both stores are live. Kaku did this work as a subcontractor rather than directly for the client. Revenue and conversion figures are not included because they were not provided.

Island Importer
Kaku reorganized the store around how people buy linen formalwear, made custom ordering easier to understand, and added Outfit Savings across the collection, product page, and cart.
